Hi, welcome to my small website.
I’m freelance sound engineer working at Effettonote Studio, in Milano, a nice & modern recording studio where I can record, mix or master your music. If needed. Check out the studio website to get more infos about rooms, gearlist and the people who makes the studio alive.
I usually work in the Studio A (the main room, here) because is my favorite place for mixing, mastering and tracking works. And I know this room as myself. In the Studio A I find at my disposal a ProTools HD2 (or 3) rig, ATC & Adam monitors and some top notch outboard (the Thermionic Culture valve compressor is my favorite).
I mix, master and record any kind of music but I’ve to admit that I’m a rock and roll type of guy and, as mixing engineer, I have a wired passion for intricate and challenging music like progressive rock, rock in opposition, avant-grade. Check out my soundcoud “progressive/RIO” set to hear and understand what I’m talking about. Anyway my nick name is HotRats, the title of a Frank Zappa record…!

One more thing.
In these days mixing and mastering over the internet has become so common that, guess what?, lot of my mixing works are done in that way.
How does it work?
Well, we agree on a flat rate, you send my your files and explain your needs, I work for your music at my best, we keep in touch during the whole process and at the end of the process you’ll get your music back, mixed, mastered (or both) knowing that we’ve done our best, together.
